Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium

The school is allocated additional funding, Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) for: those pupils who are registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years; pupils looked after by the local authority; and the children of armed service personnel. In the academic year 2014/2015 the school received £46, 400. 00 which was spent on supporting those children through specialist intervention programmes and one to one tuition. The outcomes for those children receiving Pupil Premium support has allowed them to either maintain expected progress or identify further areas of support, which will be continued in the coming academic year 2015/2016.

Our allocation for Pupil Premium in 2015/2016 is approximately £41,360, which will be used to support those children and more, through specialist intervention programmes and one to one tuition as well as the provision of extra curricular activities and experiences to enhance social skills and self-esteem.
